“This hotel is absolutely exceptional — it exceeded all our expectations. We stayed for four nights to ski and celebrate my husband’s 40th birthday, and every moment was unforgettable. We were given a stunning chalet with breathtaking views of the mountains and ski lifts. The ski room staff were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable — having warm boots put on for you each morning was such a luxury! All of the staff were genuinely kind, attentive, and always ready to assist. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, with every detail carefully considered. The spa was a definite highlight, featuring a gorgeous indoor-outdoor pool along with a sauna and steam room that were perfect for relaxing after a day on the slopes. Although we only dined at the hotel twice, both meals were absolutely delicious. This is truly a world-class alpine resort, and I cannot wait to return. A solid 10/10!”

“My partner and I stayed at Le Coucou Méribel last week. Overall, we had an amazing time in Méribel, with mixed feelings about the hotel itself. There’s no denying that Le Coucou is a true 5-star property. The interior design is exceptional, and the location is arguably one of the best in Méribel. The hotel staff struck a great balance—attentive and helpful when needed, while still allowing space and privacy, which we really appreciated. Dining was a highlight. Beefbar Méribel serves fantastic steaks, and the service at Le Fumoir—especially from Alex—was genuinely outstanding. However, there are a few things to be aware of. Pricing across the hotel is extremely high—particularly for drinks, which feel significantly overpriced—and there are additional charges that aren’t always clearly communicated upfront. It’s important to keep a close eye on your bill throughout your stay, as costs can add up quickly without you realising. The main issue—and ultimately the reason we likely wouldn’t return—is the ski-in/ski-out service. This is operated by a third-party company and was a major letdown. The staff we encountered were the rudest we’ve experienced in a hotel setting, with management displaying a passive-aggressive attitude. After raising a formal complaint, we received no apology—only a noticeably colder response. On top of that, you’re charged to store your equipment (with no alternative option!), and we’d strongly advise against letting them handle your gear—our snowboard was damaged when they attached the bindings, likely using power tools. In summary, Le Coucou is a beautifully designed hotel in an unbeatable location, with excellent service from the main hotel team. However, the ski service significantly detracts from the experience. If you stay, enjoy the hotel—but consider having drinks elsewhere due to the pricing, and avoid the ski and boot storage service at all costs.”

“This was my second time staying at this property and I will certainly be back. You can't beat the location! You are located on the mountain, with amazing restaurant options on site, walking distance to live music, après ski and the most AMAZING views. The service is top notch and extremely accommodating.”

“Beautiful hotel in the French Alps. Our favorite thing/person was EVAN from the Kids Club! He was always super friendly and made us laugh and always wanted to play with us! He made our days super fun! Thank you EVAN from the kids club! And the staff at the ski boutique were also incredibly helpful and friendly and made the whole experience of putting on ski boots lovely, which is rare, as they are so uncomfortable to put on”

“Wonderful hotel — like a cozy magical jewel box in the Three Valleys. A beautiful spa, spacious rooms, and outstanding restaurants. But the true heart of the hotel is, of course, the team. The ski room staff are fantastic, the concierge service is efficient and impressively fast, and the entire team is attentive, warm, and highly professional. I recommend it 100% — the best hotel in Méribel, Three Valleys.”
